Our 1" (25.4 mm) Alligator Clips are zinc plated to withstand continued outdoor exposure with minimal wear. Also known as Thumb Buckles, alligator clips are tension devices used to tighten perimeter webbing straps on Classic Series Frame Tent systems. When fed through the clip, straps are capable of continued pulling through of the buckle, but will be unable to retract toward the teeth without releasing the clip.
