Asphalt Plugs are used once a tent has been removed from a paved area to reduce wear by providing displacement for any water that may collect in stake holes. Plugs can be used in asphalt, black top, or pavement. The 7/8" (2.22 cm) plug should be used on stake holes with a diameter around 1" (25.4 mm); always measure and choose the plug closest to the diameter of the hole to be filled.
To use, place the plug into the stake hole and pound into place with a hammer or stake head. If the stake hole is deeper than the length of the plug, sand may be used to fill the hole prior to installing the plug.
