Tent Poles
STANDARD DUTY ONE PIECE SIDE POLES
As a tent manufacturer, Celina offers different types of poles to support various styles and sizes of party tents. Galvanized steel poles are most commonly used for pole tents; whereas anodized aluminum poles provide an attractive alternative and are lighter weight which reduces shipping costs and tent installation time. Celina recommends the use of anti-sink plates with all pole tent poles to prevent poles from penetrating into moist soils. Please note that 9' & 10' standard duty side poles are not an inventory item and are subject to extended lead times.
WOOD SIDE POLES
Celina's standard wood side poles provide a less expensive route to supporting smaller pole tents than the standard Galvanized Steel or Anodized Aluminum side poles. Although wood side poles are prone to problems such as deterioration due to moisture, they work great for short term pole tent installations consisting of no longer than two days. Due to strength, durability, and a shorter pin length on the top of each pole, Celina recommends that wood side poles should not be used on pole tent sizes larger than 20' x 40'.
MEDIUM DUTY CENTER & QUARTER SECTIONAL POLES
Celina is proud of the fact that our medium duty center & quarter poles for pole tents rank amongst the best quality and competitively priced in the tent industry today. Offering a choice between Galvanized Steel poles, which are most commonly used for smaller tent installations and Anodized Aluminum poles which provide more stability, an alternative appearance, and are lighter weight which reduces shipping costs and tent installation times. Celina recommends the use of anti-sink plates with all pole tent poles to prevent poles from penetrating into moist soils.
We considered two main qualities when developing our medium duty tent poles, durability and convenience. All Celina medium duty poles contain a swaged end that fits conveniently into another eliminating the hassles of transporting and handling long cumbersome one piece poles and helps reduce accidents and damages that may be incurred to your tent top during installation. The top piece of the medium duty pole is 7' in length (7'10" with top pin) and fits conveniently together with the bottom medium duty pole (7') that includes a swaged end for a total center pole height of 14' which is the standard height of all 20' wide Celina pole tents. Inserts that include a swaged end are placed between the 7' top and 7' bottom poles to extend the length to accommodate center pole heights required for larger tent sizes.
EXAMPLE OF USE: 30' x 60' Celina Classic Pole Tent requires a 16' center height which would include one 7' top, one 7' bottom, and one 2' insert for a total center pole height of 16'
HEAVY DUTY CENTER & QUARTER POLES
Industry standards show that Aluminum Heavy Duty Center & Quarter Poles with a 3 1/2" diameter provide the necessary strength and durability for you to feel safe under a large pole tent. Celina understands that feeling safe under a large tent is important to all of our customers which is why we offer these center & quarter poles at economically competitive prices. Celina recommends the use of anti-sink plates with all pole tent poles to prevent poles from penetrating into moist soils.

All Celina heavy duty center and quarter poles contain a swaged end that fits conveniently into another eliminating the hassles of transporting and handling cumbersome long one piece poles and helps reduce accidents and damages that may be incurred to your tent top during installation. The top piece of the heavy duty pole is 8' in length (8'10" with top pin) and fits conveniently together with the bottom heavy duty pole piece (8') that includes a swaged end for a total center pole height of 16'. Depending on your tent size, inserts that include a swaged end may need to be inserted between the top and bottom center poles to reach the desired center pole height. Inserts allow the 8' top and bottom center pole pieces to be extended to fit various tent sizes without having to carry a large inventory of one piece poles of different lengths. Celina provides this type of pole to reduce installation times, costs, and effort for end users.
