Product Description

Frame Tent Jack — 12' Lift for 2" Frame Tubing

Speed up frame tent installs and improve on-site safety with CELINA's Frame Tent Jack (ACFT12). This 12' (3.7 m) jack lifts frame tent perimeter tubing and holds the frame hands-free while installers insert legs and complete assembly. Instead of relying on extra crew members to keep the frame elevated, the tent jack delivers a controlled, stable lift point that reduces strain, improves efficiency, and lowers the chance of accidents during setup.

Built for real install environments, the jack uses a cable and winch system to raise and lower the frame smoothly. A purpose-built hook design wraps around the perimeter tubing to maintain secure contact throughout the lift. The hook is optimized for tents with 2" (50.8 mm) diameter tubing.

Before Use — Safety Requirements

Read the full product manual before operating this jack. The warnings and instructions in that manual cannot cover every possible condition; common sense and caution must be supplied by the installer and/or operator.

  • WARNING: Never place hands, fingers, or any part of the body between tent components, fittings, legs, or frame members during lifting, lowering, or leg installation. Pinch points and shifting loads may result in serious injury.
  • Read the manual first. Failure to follow instructions can result in serious injury. Save the manual for future reference.
  • Inspect before each use. Check the cable, winch mechanism, hook, and all bolts for wear, damage, or looseness before lifting. Do not use a jack with a frayed cable or damaged components.
  • Verify full assembly. Confirm that the upper beam bolts are fully tightened, the wheels are properly secured with the axle pin bent into place, and the winch handle is correctly attached before operating.
  • Confirm tubing compatibility. The hook is designed for 2" (50.8 mm) diameter perimeter tubing. Do not attempt to use the jack on tubing of a different diameter.
  • Position near a fitting. Always place the jack near a frame fitting before lifting — not at mid-span. This reduces the risk of tubing damage and provides a more stable lift point.
  • Stake the base for stability. Before lifting, slide standard 1" tent stakes into the four welded base loops (inward toward the center) to anchor the jack and minimize movement while the frame is elevated. Stakes are sold separately.
  • Keep the work area clear. Ensure no crew members are positioned directly under the elevated frame during lifting or leg insertion.
  • Use the kickstand when laying the jack down. When storing or transporting the jack in a horizontal position with the winch facing down, deploy the kickstand to prevent the crank handle from hitting the ground and bending.
  • Operate in appropriate conditions only. Do not use in high winds or unstable ground conditions where the jack base cannot be properly secured.
  • Do not exceed the design intent. This jack is designed for lifting frame tent perimeter tubing during assembly. Do not use it to support loads beyond its intended purpose.

Why a Frame Tent Jack Improves Installation Efficiency

Lifting a frame tent into position is one of the most labor-intensive parts of installation — and one of the most common points where crews rush or improvise. A proper tent jack lets the team lift the frame in a controlled way and keep it lofted while legs are installed, eliminating the need for crew members to manually hold the frame in place.

The result is a more consistent workflow: lift, insert legs, confirm alignment, move to the next point. Over a full season, that consistency can save significant time and reduce the physical wear that comes from repeated manual lifting.

Hands-Free Lifting with a Cable & Winch System

The Frame Tent Jack uses a cable and winch mechanism for controlled raising and lowering — a significant improvement over manually muscling a frame up or relying on improvised leverage. The crank handle lets the operator lift gradually, hold the frame stable at any height, and stop precisely while legs are positioned and secured.

Hook Design Built for Frame Perimeter Tubing

The hook is designed to wrap around the perimeter tubing of a frame tent, maintaining secure contact throughout the lift. Positioning matters: place the jack near a fitting to prevent tubing damage and support a more stable lift point. Once the hook is looped around the perimeter tube, turn the crank to raise the frame into position.

Stability Features for Safer Operation

The base includes four welded loops that accept standard 1" (25.4 mm) tent stakes to anchor the jack during use. Slide the stakes inward toward the center of the base to expand the footprint and reduce movement while the frame is elevated. This supports safer work when crews are inserting legs and aligning the structure. (Tent stakes are sold separately.)

The jack also features an upper-beam kickstand on a dimple-lock system. When the jack is laid flat with the winch facing down — for transport or storage — deploy the kickstand to protect the crank handle from ground contact and bending.

Key Benefits

  • Reduces crew labor: Holds the frame elevated hands-free, freeing installers to insert legs without a dedicated "holder."
  • Improves on-site safety: Controlled lifting reduces the chance of slips, drops, and rushed handling that cause injuries.
  • Faster leg insertion: Keeps the frame lofted and stable while installers position and secure legs.
  • Smooth raise and lower: Cable and winch system with crank handle for precise, gradual operation.
  • Secure hook design: Hook fits around 2" frame perimeter tubing for stable, consistent lifting contact.
  • Easy job-site mobility: Larger tires make it simple to move the jack between positions around the tent perimeter.
  • Stake-ready base: Four welded base loops accept standard 1" stakes to increase stability during the lift.

How to Use the Frame Tent Jack

Step 1 — Position the Jack

Place the tent jack near a fitting on the frame perimeter. This reduces the risk of tubing damage and improves lift stability.

Step 2 — Attach the Hook

Loop the hook around the perimeter tubing of the frame tent, ensuring secure contact before turning the crank.

Step 3 — Lift the Frame

Turn the crank handle to raise the frame to the desired height. With the frame held elevated hands-free, install legs at that section before moving to the next position.

Step 4 — Add Stability (Recommended)

Slide standard 1" tent stakes into the four welded base loops, pointing inward toward the center, to anchor the jack and minimize movement during lifting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What tubing size is the Frame Tent Jack designed for?

The ACFT12 is designed for frame tents with 2" (50.8 mm) diameter perimeter tubing.

How high does the Frame Tent Jack lift?

The jack provides a maximum lift height of 12' (3.7 m).

Are tent stakes included?

No. The base loops accept standard 1" (25.4 mm) tent stakes for added stability, but stakes are sold separately.

Where should I position the jack on the frame?

Always position the jack near a fitting on the perimeter tubing — not at mid-span. This protects the tubing from damage and provides a more stable lift point.

What is the kickstand for?

The kickstand on the upper beam is used when the jack is laid flat on the ground with the winch facing down (for transport or storage). It operates on a dimple-lock system and prevents the crank handle from contacting the ground and bending.
